Jang Hyunseung is a South Korean pop singer and dancer. He is a member of the boy band, Beast, a South Korean band under Cube Entertainment.
Big Bang Documentary:
Hyunseung first gained national interest through the Big Bang Documentary. He was given the nickname SO-1 as a YG trainee and appeared in 10 out of the 11 episodes. He was eliminated after episode 9 in which he and Seungri (current Big Bang member) competes for the 5th member position. He was very close with G-Dragon, T.O.P and Taeyang because they were closer in age and trained together for a longer period of time. He looks up to G-Dragon and considers him as a close brother.
